Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the 3d Microblading treatment take?

Allow about two to two and a half hours for the initial procedure. During this time, you will be asked to complete a detailed consent form. After reviewing your medical history, ensuring your adequate understanding of the procedure and realistic expectations, we continue with the actual process of configuring your “new” brow. I will draw the shape/outline of your brows and we will decide together which look suits your features.

Does 3d microblading hurt?

Discomfort varies from person to person. Unless otherwise indicated, a numbing agent is applied prior to and/or throughout the procedure. You will be asked frequently to rate your discomfort on a scale from 1 to 10. We go at your pace.

How much does Microblading cost?

The procedure retails for $700. This includes the first and second treatment spaces approximately 4-6 weeks apart. Initial Touchups are $375. Touchups are $200 unless the brows are completely faded, then the procedure is full price. *Prices may vary*

Do you ever run specials?

Yes. Specials are listed on Instagram or Facebook. Links to both are located at the top right of your screen.

Do you have a payment plan?

Your payment is due in full on the day of the service. You have the option to make weekly payments towards your treatment up until the day of the procedure and then the remaining amount is due on that day. There are no refunds for cancellations.

Can minors have this procedure?

According to the state of North Carolina, microblading is considered a tattoo. Therefore, it is illegal to microblade anyone under the age of 18.

Who are not candidates for this procedure?

Individuals with uncontrolled autoimmune diseases and blood disorders, undergoing chemotherapy or radiation, minors, pregnant women, individuals prescribed anticoagulants such as Coumadin or daily doses of aspirin.

Who are candidates for this procedure?

The most common candidates are those who over-tweezed in the past, those with an old tattoo they would like covered, those with alopecia and/or other medical causes of complete eyebrow loss. Even clients who already have brows choose this procedure for a fuller shape and more filled in brow.

Microblading healing process?

Everyone heals differently and in their own time. Generally, healing takes between one to two weeks. You will be provided with After Care Instructions to follow in order to achieve optimal results. The best results are achieved when the instructions are followed for two weeks.

Is this treatment something I should take off work for?

That is completely up to you but I do not feel it is necessary. You will want to show your brows off, not hide them. You can expect for the color to get darker before it gets lighter. Itching and scabbing are not uncommon and vary from person to person.

What’s your availability?

Monday-Wednesday, Friday and some Saturdays. Initial clients are asked to book at 9:30, 12pm or 3pm. Sessions are by appointment only and availability is generally a month or so out. You may request to be added to the cancellation list.

Are brows all that you do?

At the moment, yes. I am in the process of furthering my education and intend on adding eyeliner and lips to my list of services.

Should I get waxed before the treatment?

You may as long as it’s two weeks before the treatment. It is not required.

Can I wear makeup to my 3d microblading appointment?

Yes, you may. I will thoroughly sanitize the treatment area only before initiating treatment.

Any 3d Microblading Pre-treatment instructions?

It is highly recommended that you discontinue all blood thinning products about a week before the procedure. This includes but is not limited to ibuprofen, aspirin, alcohol, biotin, and fish oil. Also, avoid strenuous activity before the treatment. Following these pre-treatment guidelines will optimize the outcome of your eyebrows. The thinner the blood, the higher the chances of bleeding, enabling the pigment to “take” as it usually should. Blood thinners and strenuous activity both increase the risk of bleeding easily.
